Leisure & Activities
Holloways Beach, 50 meters away, has lifeguards in warmer months. Activities include kite surfing (lessons at Kite Rite Australia), ukulele club meetings, and the Cairns Ukulele Festival in July. The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is 14 minutes north, and the Great Barrier Reef offers snorkeling and diving.
Location & Transport
Pacific Sands is 12 minutes from Cairns Airport, 14 minutes from Cairns CBD, and 10 km from Cairns Central. A local bus runs hourly to Cairns City or Smithfield. Taxis and airport shuttles are available. Car rentals can be arranged for off-the-beaten-path exploration.

The tour desk books reef trips, fishing charters, and Daintree rainforest tours. Local market schedules are provided. Apartments are available for short-term rentals (1-12 months).
